Cindy landed in the world of coaching after earning her Business Coaching Certificate from UNC. She now serves as adjunct faculty for the NC Statue Business Coaching certificate program and enjoys mentoring up-and-coming coaches. Cindy was successful in sales and sales leadership before accepting the role of VP for Sales Learning and Sales Support organization, which was charged with supporting 1500 Sales Associates and $400 million in sales in the US.  Cindy's success included a 16% drop in turnover and record-breaking sales during her tenure.  She stepped down from her executive leadership role to launch Percio Strategies and have more time for her philanthropic interests. 


How does your background and experience benefit the clients you work with today?
Because of many years of leadership experience, I am able to offer a deep level of understanding of my clients' challenges. I ask thought provoking questions that help them sort through the noise and get to the essence of what needs to happen. I have established an incredible network of business partners across the country. If a client needs external help beyond my area of expertise, I can typically make it easy for them to find the right solution.  

What is the best thing you do for your clients?
Listen. My clients say it is invaluable to speak to someone at a peer level who understands their challenges. My clients appreciate it when I listen to a complex situation, glean the salient points and help them get to a viable action plan fairly quickly. 

What delights you about your work?
I really enjoy coaching high potential leaders. When a leader I have worked with has had a breakthrough and lands in a place that goes beyond their expectations, it is absolutely exhilarating!

What are your personal "business words to live by"?
"Do or do not, there is no try." In today's market, it is essential to establish a clear focus on what matters most and to envision success each and every day. There is no room for doubt. Fortunately, I have been able to align with organizations that are committed to doing what needs to be done to succeed.
